Graphic Design has a profound impact on all our lives. Whether it is magazine layout, editorial illustration, product packaging, CD covers or billboards, Logos or public information signs, they all involve a designer.
If you want to learn more about becoming a designer or you wish to update existing skills then WAES courses are a good place to start. You are encouraged to explore a wide-range of creative, conceptual and practical skills whilst developing an individual approach to your design work. You’ll work with professional Adobe Design software on Apple computers and you’ll learn studio and research skills essential for the modern designer. Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and Maxon Cinema 4d whilst developing your design skills in Graphics, Layout, Animation and Web Design
The Graphic Design courses at WAES will enable you to learn new skills or progress to the next level at your leisure. Our accredited courses provide you with the qualifications and a foundation to progress to Higher Education or to pursue a career in Graphic Design. Our introductory and tasters courses are designed to introduce you to design, software and our individual courses give you the opportunity to explore specific areas of graphic design.
You will receive practical instruction from industry professionals who can develop your knowledge and skills through assignments, design and software instruction plus keep you up-to-date with current trends, developments and further studies.
