Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) offers job opportunities across a wide spectrum. We currently employ over 400 members of staff whose roles vary from teaching part time courses and lecturing on a full time basis to working in the busy finance or marketing teams and providing the academic administration support.

We have two main sites and numerous smaller sites dispersed around Westminster offering subjects are as diverse as yachting, ESOL and Mandarin Chinese. Support staff departments include Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Childcare, Information Services, Administration and Student Support.

The Head of Service seeks to ensure that recruitment represents the diverse community that the Service covers in terms of ethnicity, gender, age and disability. We are committed to offering our staff appropriate training and run a comprehnesive staff devlopment programme that ensures staff improve their skills and obtain further qualifications to assist their professional development.

In 2006 WAES completed a restructure of its academic areas . This restructure has resulted in a new tier of middle management in the academic area, changes in job descriptions and terms and conditions for all staff and a general review of the staffing makeup of WAES.
