Welcome

The Learning Centres are reference libraries and computer facilities located at the Amberley Road and Ebury Bridge sites. The Centres were set up to support  students in their studies and have made a real difference to the learning experience of our users. The Learning Centres are FREE to anyone who is currently studying at Westminster Adult Education Service.

The Learning Centres offer: 

  • A friendly atmosphere ideal for studying
  • A wide range of reference materials related to all course areas
  • PCs all with free internet and email access, plus two Apple Macs
  • Audio, visual and interactive English language materials
  • Inexpensive scanning, printing and photocopying facilities
  • A range of computer hardware and software to assist learners with special needs 

 

Help is at hand

Our Learning Resource Assistants are on hand to help you get the most from the Centre. So if you have never used a computer before, can't find the book you are looking for, or are struggling with your coursework, just ask one of our friendly team. 

Learning Support 

There is a Learning Support Programme of regular drop-in sessions where you can seek help from qualified tutors. You can get help with Essay Writing, Maths, English and Study Skills - No need to book!
