Westminster Adult Education Service and Vital Regeneration are looking for a Production Team for our new Digital Destinations project

Westminster Adult Education Service have partnered with Vital Youth to create an amazing opportunity for 12 young people aged 19-24 from Westminster.

 What will I do as a production team member?

You will be in a team of 12 young people, working alongside digital professionals who will act as your mentors. Together you will produce a digital product for a real client; Westminster Working Skills Board, while developing your skills and gaining work experience.

Over the course of 5 weeks you will lead a range of production skills and create a promotional documentary highlighting the work of the project client.

 Who can be a production team member?

We are looking for young people aged 19 – 24 who are not in education or employment

(if you’re working or studying under 16 hours it’s ok). School leavers through to graduates are welcome. 

 How long will the course run for ?

Your team will work together for 5 weeks, 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday), 4- hours a day 1-4 pm. You will start on March 5th  2014 and you will be given a full timetable as soon as you have been offered a place.

What do I get out of it?

During the 5 week programme we will support you with finding a job, additional training or an apprenticeship. As well as gaining professional experience, having a great time and developing a wide range of skills, you will also gain:

• A Bronze arts award
• Professional film making skills
• A range of digital production skills such as Editing, sound editing and Production planning
• Valuable work experience
• Support to find work or apprenticeships

We will continue to offer you support for at least 6 months after the volunteering is over. This includes; one to ones with our careers advisor, and support with looking for work and building your CV and experience.
