An exhibition of 2D and 3D creative art from students of Westminster Adult Education Service.
The Summer Arts Exhibition of WAES has become a well-established tradition and a highlight of the College’s calendar, attracting curators and renowned artists as well as large numbers of people interested to see the work of our talented student artists.
The popular exhibition returns to the prestigious Mall Galleries, in the heart of the capital, for a second year running.
One of the many highlights of the 2013 show was Ida Simone Christensen's untitled piece created using charcoal. Presented by the Lord Mayor of Westminster, Ida's piece was awarded the Bowker Prize for excellence - an award that will be presented again during the 2014 exhibition in memory of the late ceramicist David Bowker who was instrumental in establishing the glass deparment at WAES.
Perspectives showcases photography, glass, ceramics, jewellery, fashion and visual art work as well as contemporary media in graphic design exhibits.
