Celebrating Diversity. Black History Month. October 2011
Westminster has a rich and diverse cultural history. Today, around 30% of Westminster's residents belong to black or minority ethnic communities and over 150 languages are spoken across Westminster's schools.
Black History Month has been celebrated every October in the UK for over 30 years. WAES is proud to announce that it will celebrate the event with gospel music and a display marking the achievements and positive contributions made to our communities.
