Westminster Adult Education Service' (WAES) tutors, Angela Gordon Wright and Hamida'M Ribet were amongst the 36,000 runners who took part in the Virgin London Marathon on 25th May 2010.
The London Marathon is the largest race of it's kind, spanning a staggering 26.2 miles. Wright and Ribet took up the challenge to raise money for Dyslexia Action,a charity that supports specific Learning Difficulties. The Early Years students' supported the cause and raised to the fundraising challenge. Certificate Pre-School Practice class raised over £60 going bowling in their pyjamas and the Diploma Pre-School Practice class raised £40 by organising a sponsored walk amongst other activities.
