Media Makeup Tutor & Assessor

About You

You must have qualifications and experience at Level 3 in Media Makeup and must hold an Assessor qualification (essential) and IQA qualification (desirable) as well as a teaching qualification, Level 3 as a minimum.

The Role

Part Time Tutor/Assessor required to start in September 2024 to teach 2 days per week on Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds Media Makeup Courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and all associated course preparation including scheme of work, lesson plans, assignments, resources and materials
  • Assessing and feeding back on learners’ work using an e-portfolio system
  • Conducting observations in the learners’ workplace
  • Monitor learners’ attendance, punctuality and behaviour taking necessary actions when required
  • Working with Exams Department to schedule exams
