The qualification

Upon successful completion, learners will receive their certificate which is accredited by NCFE.

How is it delivered?

The course is usually delivered over a period of 8–12 weeks and learners can enrol at anytime. Alongside the learning materials learners will have the support of a knowledgeable assessor who will provide support, advice and guidance on the course content as well as providing robust feedback on the work completed.

What is the cost?

The Level 2 courses below are fully funded, providing you are a resident in the UK and have been for 3 years, are aged over 19, and live anywhere in England excluding any of the Mayoral Combined Authorities.

The Level 3 courses below are funded under the National Skills Fund providing you live in Greater London and don’t already have a Level 3 qualification, or otherwise earn less than the London Living Wage, currently set at £21,547.50 annually since November 2021.

Level 2 Certificate in Care and Management of Diabetes

This qualification aims to - provide an understanding of the different types of diabetes and how they can occur, develop awareness of how the onset of Type 2 diabetes can be delayed with lifestyle changes, develop understanding of diabetes diagnosis and initial care, develop understanding of ongoing care and treatment of diabetes to control blood sugar levels.

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care

This qualification aims to give learners knowledge and understanding of the key principles of dignity, duty of care and safeguarding as applied to adult health and social care. Learners will investigate the principles and how they are applied in everyday work contexts. They'll also have an opportunity to examine the dilemmas that can arise and the consequences when these principles aren't upheld.
