What is the cost?

The Level 2 course below is fully funded, providing you are a resident in the UK and have been for 3 years, are aged over 19 (as of 1 August 2023), and live anywhere in England excluding Greater London (until 1 August 2024) and any of the Mayoral Combined Authorities.

The qualification

Upon successful completion, learners will receive their certificate which is accredited by NCFE.

How is it delivered?

The course is usually delivered over a period of 8–12 weeks and learners can enrol at anytime. Alongside the learning materials learners will have the support of a knowledgeable assessor who will provide support, advice and guidance on the course content as well as providing robust feedback on the work completed.

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Climate Change and Environment

Please note, this course is currently only available to learners in England outside Greater London, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, Tees Valley, West of England, West Midlands, North of Tyne, Sheffield City Region, and West Yorkshire.

This qualification is designed to provide learners with an introduction to the principles of climate change and environmental awareness. It will ensure learners understand the nature of climate change and the role they can play in helping to reduce carbon emissions. Through achieving the qualification, learners will gain the knowledge and understanding to act as drivers of positive change within the workplace and at home.
