Examples of previous workshops
Bumblebear workshop, April 2018
WAES Family Learning team ran a Bumblebear workshop for families with young children in April 2018 at Maida Vale Library. The workshop was based on the book The Bumblebear by Nadia Shireen. Families had a wonderful reading of the story by Hatty of Westminster Libraries, followed by learning a lot about bees, honey and conservation. Everyone made a Bumblebear Hat and read their very own copy of the book.
Sock Puppets workshop, April 2018
This Easter our Family Learning team worked with parents and children in Westminster to design and create wonderful sock puppets.
