Graphic Design short courses

We offer courses for beginners looking to learn new skills for the workplace or as a hobby. Learn the fundamentals of Graphic Design or get skilled in software essential to the industry, on our growing range of short courses.

Please note that these are at our Pimlico Centre, which is near to Pimlico Underground or Victoria Station.

Bookings can be made by clicking the 'Enrol on this course' button next to the detailed information for each course. Graphic Design taster course

"This taster session will introduce you to the principles of graphic design and you will make a simple layout using mark making, typography, and colour. A monotype is a one-off print. The image is created by rolling ink up or painting onto an acetate surface, then printed by hand pushing the paper on the acrylic sheet with a clean roller. This printmaking technique gives you plenty if ideas for future artworks, artists journals, handmade postcards and wrapping paper. "

Introduction to Adobe Illustrator

You will learn to use key tools and techniques in Illustrator. Through demonstrations and practical exercises, you will learn how to effectively use and integrate a range of tools to create graphic illustrations, logos and for working with text.

Introduction to AutoCAD

On this introduction to Autodesk AutoCAD, you will learn about the interface, and drawing and design techniques, that are suitable for sharing and printing. You will be taught how to create simple, annotated drawings for architecture, construction, and manufacturing. With hands-on practice, you will be taken you from knowing nothing or just a little, to a level where you can confidently start producing and working with accurate designs.
