The course is a 'summer school' for current students who wish to continue to craft over the summer break. It will be self-directed but tutor led and is designed to build proficiency and confidence in handbuilding and/or wheel throwing. You'll produce quality work from a personal student created brief, using contemporary and historical ceramics for inspiration.

For Greater London residents, these courses can be funded if they earn less than the London Living Wage or otherwise do not already have a Level 3 qualification, alongside the standard residency requirements.

This course has a duration of 26 weeks and its purpose is to provide learners with sector awareness. It will provide the learner with a chance to develop knowledge and skills relating to coding practices with the view to seeking employment or proceeding to further study in this area.
