What is the course about?
The course is for people who wish to arrange floral displays for the festive period. Suitable for new learners as a skill or hobby, or those who are familiar working with flowers and wish extend their skill base, to create beautiful traditional Christmas displays.

This course is suitable for beginners and those who currently work with flowers. It requires no particular prior qualifications.
What topics does the course cover?
A Christmas door wreath and a Christmas dinner table arrangement.
How will I be taught and assessed?
Your tutor will demonstate techniques and most of the time will be spent making the arrangements. Discussions among class peers, and practical elements will be observed by the tutor.
Are there any other costs or equipment I need to get?
materials will be provided for the course, but you may wish to bring items to personalise your arrangements: Christmas berries, roses, carnations, pine cones, cinnamon sticks, and ribbons. Please bring a camera, note book and pen to record your progress.
By the end of the course what should I be able to do?
You will take home and be able to create a Christmas door wreath and a table display for the dinner table.
What are the progression opportunities following this course?
Once completed, you can progress ontoFloristry Level One Award or attend other short courses.
