What is the course about?
We will read stories together, learn about the characters, the setting, the plot- and then make something together to help enrich our understanding and love for the book. A parent or carer must join the child with this workshop. For children in nursery, Reception and Year 1 .

What level is the course and do I require particular skills, experience or prior qualifications?
No prior experience is required.
What topics does the course cover?
How will I be taught and assessed?
There is no formal assessment. This is an online course and you will have access to an experienced tutor who will share the programme with you.
Are there any other costs or equipment I need to get?
There are no costs, this workshop is free. You will need access to a Tablet, Smart phone or a PC (with audio). This course will be delivered through the platform Zoom or Teams. Pencils, paper and scissors are needed.
By the end of the course what should I be able to do?
You will feel more confident reading and enjoying stories with your child. You will know how to explore the ideas of the stories and make fun toys or props to help your child understand the stories better.
