What is the course about?
This is a one day course devoted to the preparation and baking of three Middle Eastern breads.You will make Sangak which is baked on hot pebbles. You will also shape and make Lavash and Barbari.

What level is the course and do I require particular skills, experience or prior qualifications?
This course is open to all candidates of all abilities.
What topics does the course cover?
The topics include the history of middles eastern breads and its original baking methods. You will also look at kitchen hygiene, general health and safety, and the use of good preparation of bread making and the assembly of the three different middle Eastern bread doughs.
How will I be taught and assessed?
First a demonstration will be given followed by students carrying out the tasks. Continual support and guidance will be provided throughout the session.
Are there any other costs or equipment I need to get?
Yes there are. You will need to bring containers, so that you can take your food home securely. A ream of cling film and greaseproof paper is also recommended. Aprons, T- towels.
By the end of the course what should I be able to do?
By the end of this course you will be able to prepare and bake Middle Eastern Breads competently. You will also be able to make other varieties of Middle Eastern breads.
