What is the course about?
This course is designed and prepared for learners who wish to arrange wedding floral displays. This can be taken up by new learners as a skill or hobby and those who are familiar with working with flowers who just wish to learn to create a beautiful designs.

What level is the course and do I require particular skills, experience or prior qualifications?
This course is suitable for beginners and those who currently work with flowers, and requires no particular prior qualifications.
What topics does the course cover?
Health and Safety. A groom button hole, Bridal bouquet and a guest table display arrangement for the special day.
How will I be taught and assessed?
Discussions among the class and peers and practical elements will be observed by the tutor. You will be informally assessed on the course, engaging in a mixture of discussion, demonstration and practice as well as a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
Are there any other costs or equipment I need to get?
You will be need fresh floral material such as roses, lisianthus, berries, and foliage such as fern, herbs, ivy, eucalyptus and accessories such as feathers, pearls, butterflies and dimonte. Please bring a camera, notebook and pen to record your progress.
By the end of the course what should I be able to do?
You will be able to create guest table displays, button holes for the groom as well as the bride's bridal bouquet for weddings.
What are the progression opportunities following this course?
Once completed, you can progress on to an accredited Practical Level One Award or Certificate Floristry course.
