Frequently Asked Questions
Are classes taking place?
Our centres re-opened on 8 March 2021 for some classes, including those classes that need to do practical work or assessments and, from 19 April, more classes are scheduled to take place onsite. Some classes will continue take place online and we will help those learners who have difficulty accessing online learning.
Exams will take place as scheduled. This information may change as government guidance changes, in which case we will contact the affected learners with updates.
We have lots of help and support available, so please contact us if you are struggling with access to learning or finding it difficult to enrol.
If you do need to come to one of our centres for an exam or to pick up anything, rest assured that our centres have been made Covid-secure and we will continue to strictly adhere to our current cleaning routines and ensure that the buildings are not over-full.
If anything changes where classes have already been scheduled, we will send information to learners directly. Please make sure we have your correct contact details by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fast Virus Testing
We would like to encourage all our staff and learners to test themselves before coming onsite. To help facilitate this we have free test kits available at all three our centres.
Once you have completed your test, please let us know the result and also report the result to the government's website. We have full instructions on this page: www.waes.ac.uk/covid-tests
