Our Third Cohort of AWS re/Start Graduates Celebrate at City Hall

Congratulations to our third cohort of AWS re/Start Graduates who are now qualified and ready to begin their cloud careers!

The hard work and success of our learners was celebrated with a graduation ceremony at the Lord Mayor's Parlour in City Hall. The Graduation Celebration was attended by Lord Mayor Hamza Taouzzale, Councillor Angela Piddock, as well as representatives from local employers. 

This programme has been run in collaboration with Amazon Web Services to equip local people looking to change or start a new career in cloud computing whether they've been unemployed or underrepresented. 

Learners are taught fundamental and transferable cloud computing skills including scripting, automation, programming languages focused on Python and knowledge of security fundamentals. After the course learners are provided with CV nad interview help workshops from our Digital Hub Team and Dee Robertson representive for, recruitment company, Robert Half.
