Getting into the Christmas spirit at WAES
Posted: 16.12.2020
On Saturday, 12 December, we set up a stall at Tachbrook Street Market in Pimlico, selling a selection of items handcrafted by our learners. On offer were dozens of one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces made by our ceramics learners, as well as festive wreaths from our floristry learners. Both went down a treat, with the ceramics pieces in particular turning out to be a popular choice for Christmas gifts.
All in all, more than 60 items were sold, making over £400! The money will go back to the incredibly talented learners who made the pieces.
If you’d like to try your hand at crafting your own creations, we have January openings for our Ceramics and Floristry courses, as well as many others. Visit our course pages below to find out more about enrolment.

If you missed out on this market don’t worry, we have a series of market stalls organised for next year. In particular, you will be able to find us at Church Street Market near Marylebone on the last Thursday of every month, showcasing the work from as many creative learners as possible.
