International Women's Day #WAESBreakTheBias Selfie Challenge

International Women's Day takes place on March 8 every year, and is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The first International Women's Day took place over 100 years ago in 1911, and since then has grown into an international day of awareness which is celebrated in more than 100 countries across the world - and is even an official holiday in 25!

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.

On Tuesday 8 March we are asking you to commit to actively calling out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time you see it.

Spread the word by taking a selfie and posting it with the hashtag #WAESBreakTheBias
