WAES learners at London Pacific Fashion Week

On the 13th of September, WAES learners from the Hairdressing and Make-up departments were invited to do hair and make-up for the London Pacific Fashion Week (LPFW) alongside professional practitioners. Our learners outdid themselves with their incredible skills and professional attitude. They showed that we at WAES are nurturing incredible talent and an enthusiasm for a new career start. The organisers and designers were overwhelmed by our student’s talent and attitude towards supportive team work.

A champion of Pacific design, art and culture, LPFW acts as a platform for designers living and working in the Pacific. A select number of fashion designers from the Pacific travel to London every September for LPFW, which coincides with London Fashion Week, both to promote their brands and gain further experience in the Global fashion world. While in London, the designers commit to a series of events, allowing the breadth of their work to be showcased to a wide and diverse audience.
