Successful GCSE and UAL Results for 2023

We are delighted to share our learners' GCSE and UAL successes today.
87% gained their GCSE English and 92% gained their GCSE maths, with 55% and 71% respectively receiving a standard or strong pass or higher. Find out more about our GCSE English and maths courses.
Our learner Masoumeh received an A in Maths AS Level last week, and gained her GCSE English today, meaning she can go on to study the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in September. She said:
The college’s staff and teachers, attuned to the unique needs of mature learners, ensured that every step was comfortable and productive. With their expertise and passion, they transformed complex mathematical concepts into accessible knowledge. The journey was as rewarding as the destination, as I witnessed personal growth and newfound confidence with each passing day. WAES stands as a reminder that education is a lifelong pursuit, and with the right guidance, anything is possible.
For our UAL-accredited courses, half of our Level 3 learners received the top grade of Distinction with another quarter receiving a Merit. Two of our learners were also featured in the UAL Origins Creatives exhibition in July. We offer UAL courses in Art , Ceramics , Fashion , and Graphic Design and Creative Media Production .
