Make a difference this summer and help people learn English

WAES is holding volunteering training days on Wednesdays 24th May and 7th June to train people in becoming a Talk English Friend.

The Talk English project is working with people with low levels of English to help them improve their language skills, access services and get more involved in the community.

This will involve providing one-to-one support to people with little or no English to help them improve their English language skills, access local services and get more involved in the community.

The free training and support will prepare you for your role as a Talk English Friend. You will also be able to claim travel expenses and join in Talk English Activities. Please download and complete the application form ahead of the training dates.
