The much-anticipated WAES Creative Showcase 2023 took place on Wednesday 28th June, leaving audiences awe-struck and inspired. The event, held at Lisson Grove Centre, brought together talented learner designers and artists from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their hard work. One of the primary aims of the WAES Creative Showcase is to provide a platform for learners to gain recognition and establish their presence.
This year's exhibition featured an impressive learner display of artworks spanning various mediums, styles, and themes. From striking paintings and thought-provoking sculptures to mesmerizing digital art and photography, the exhibition was a kaleidoscope of creativity each telling a unique story and resonating with staff, family and friends on a profound level.
The fashion show segment of the event was nothing short of spectacular. Fashion design students brought their unique visions to life with collections that blended art and culture. Each ensemble displayed a distinct personality, showcasing the students' grasp of design aesthetics and technical prowess. Outfits were modelled by staff, family and friends.
