45 minutes workshops will run throughout the day. They will help you to find, apply for and secure jobs and work placements. These workshops will help to convey your strengths, skills and achievements will help you know how to use your time at college to prepare for your future career.

Introduction to Self-Employment

For those wondering what is involved in starting up their own business but are not quite ready to commit to it yet. This workshop gives an understanding of self-employment, providing a framework of the implications of starting your own business.

Getting Ready for Interviews

Learn what's expected and needed for job interviews. You will learn techniques to help control your nerves and discover how to use your voice in a confident and engaging way.

Learn how you can undertake courses online to improve your skills, knowledge and career prospects without needing to commit to attending college or studying full time.

Working with Families - One Year Work Placement

Learn how to get involved in voluntary placements that offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families with young children who are experiencing difficulties in their own homes, and helping to prevent family crisis or breakdown.

Using LinkedIn to Support Your Jobsearch
