WAES Celebrates Maths Week England 2024

From Monday 11th November to Sunday 17th November, for the first time WAES proudly participated in Maths Week England, an annual event dedicated to highlighting the importance of maths in our daily lives.

Learners were invited to engage in a variety of exciting maths activities, including puzzles, problem-solving challenges, and interactive quizzes, hosted in person at our maths stand. These activities not only tested their skills but also showed how maths is relevant beyond the classroom.

Tutors across different departments joined the initiative by incorporating maths-focused activities into their lessons, sparking further discussions about the role of maths in various fields.
