Summer Opening Times

Over the extended summer holiday period from 18/19 July, our centre opening times vary, as shown in the table below.

Other than the exceptions listed below, Lisson Grove remains open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, but our second floor Learning Centre and Editing Suite are closed until Monday 22 September once Extended Enrolment has finished. Please make alternative arrangements if you need to use a computer – most libraries have computers available for their local residents to use, for example Westminster Libraries.

Pimlico is closed until Monday 18 August when it reopens Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Amberley Road remains closed until term restarts on Monday 8 September.

In particular, please note the following exceptional dates:

• Friday 18 July: Amberley Road is closed and does not reopen until Monday 8 September.
• Monday 21 July: all centres are closed for Staff Conference.
• Friday 25 July: Lisson Grove is closed for a network upgrade so Pimlico is temporarily open instead, 9am-5pm.
  The upgrade will also temporarily close the online Staff Portal and WAES Portal, including reports, timetables, ILPs, markbooks etc., as well as applications for new courses from the website. This may remain down until the end of Saturday 26 July.
• Friday 15 August: Lisson Grove is open as normal, but a system upgrade is scheduled.
  The upgrade will also temporarily close the online Staff Portal and WAES Portal, including reports, timetables, ILPs, markbooks etc., as well as applications for new courses from the website. This will not affect the use of Microsoft services like Teams, email or the Learner Hub, or OneFile.
• Monday 18 August: Pimlico reopens for certain hours each week.
• Monday 25 August: all centres are closed for Bank Holiday.
• Tuesday 26 August: Main Enrolment starts.
• Friday 5 September: all centres are closed for Staff Development Day.
• Monday 8 September: term restarts, but individual course start dates vary.
