Milica Rosellini

Milica Rosellini

I was born in Yugoslavia. London has been my home for almost 30 years now.

For almost 15 years I worked in education but three years ago I decided to leave the job I loved and try fulfilling my life long dream- to work as a film & theatre hair and makeup artist.

I researched for months, most courses were unaffordable for me, but then I found WAES.

The first course I took was Level 2 Hairdressing and a year after I started Media Makeup course.

The financial support meant so much, I simply wouldn’t have been able to afford two years of education without it and, just as importantly, the quality of teaching exceeded- which exceeded my expectations.

Without the Media Makeup course I wouldn’t be doing the job I always dreamed of doing.

I have been very busy working across London theatres.

It wasn’t easy, the commitment to study and then finding work; being self-employed does have its challenges but hard work does pay off.

I am just beyond grateful to my incredible tutor Louise Hoare for teaching and believing in me and to WAES for making it all possible.
