This qualification has a duration of 12 weeks and is useful for anyone who would like to develop their use of counselling skills for use in either work or a personal capacity. These may be learners who wish to progress towards further qualifications or learners who wish to study this programme in order to complement other programmes e.g.

The course has a duration of 12 weeks and it's purpose is to give learners the skills to support colleagues with mental health problems. These skills will be gained by increasing the learner’s knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid and how this can be implemented in the workplace

The course has a duration of 26 weeks and is designed to increase learners' knowledge and understanding of mental health and mental well-being. Successful completion of the required units will allow the learner to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health. It will also support learner progression into relevant employment within the Health and Social Care sector.
For Greater London residents, these courses can be funded if they earn less than the London Living Wage or otherwise do not already have a Level 3 qualification, alongside the standard residency requirements.
