We know that childcare can be one of the biggest barriers to learning. That’s why we offer on-site nurseries for WAES learners, giving you the support you need to focus on your course while your child is cared for in a safe, welcoming environment — so you can study with childcare in place..
Our nurseries are based at our two main centres and are designed specifically to support adult learners — helping you take the next step in your education, career or personal development.

Our nurseries are open to children of enrolled WAES learners.

Opening times
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5pm (term time)
Age range
- We offer places for young children aged from 1 year to 8 years old
Places are in high demand, so we strongly recommend applying as early as possible.

Fees and funding
We aim to keep childcare as affordable as possible for learners.
- £8 per hour per child
- £40 registration fee per term per child
Depending on your circumstances and evidence, financial support may be available. Our learner services team can help you understand what support you may be eligible for.
