Choosing a Course

Qualification Types

When you are choosing a course, it is important to find the right level for you.

Here at Westminster Adult Education Service, we offer a wide range of qualifications that are accredited by a number of awarding bodies including Pearson/Edexcel, NCFE, City & Guilds, Ascentis and many other specialist examining boards.

Our qualifications are designed to enable adults to study on a part-time basis, working towards awards in a way that fits in with employment and family commitments. Course content is organised into smaller amounts of learning, called units. This enables learners to work at their own pace and gain credit for achievements that are recognised by outside bodies and employers.

The table below shows the qualification levels of the courses WAES offers, along with examples of those courses and an indication of entry requirements. Speak to an adviser for more information by calling 020 7297 7297.
