This course is for learners who are inexperienced using computers and software. It has been designed to give you practical skills in using information technology and digital skills such as word processing and presenting information for a variety of reasons. It will enable you to carry out tasks at home and work.
Improve your digital skills with our Level 1 programme. Developing skills introduced at Essential Digital Skills at Entry 3, this is a continuation to understanding the world of technology for home and work users. Become competent, safe and productive, developing new skills and building your confidence.
This level 2 course is for learners already competent using computers and information technology for a range of purposes for both home and work related tasks. You will develop your skills further in understanding how to be productive using technology and advance your skills and knowledge using recognised software in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. You will need a reliable internet source and a computer or laptop, but some learners maybe entitled to support with new equipment.
