Westminster City Council Nominee Governor

Councillor Hannah Galley is a Westminster City Councillor representing Abbey Road Ward.

Professionally, she is a Communications Specialist and has worked across Government and the Private Sector. Most recently she was the Special Advisor to the Lord Chancellor and Justice Secretary, who she advised on media and communications spanning prisons, probation and the justice system.

Hannah has always believed in the power of education in unlocking potential and giving people the chance and skills to equip them to succeed in life so when she was asked, as a local Councillor, to join the board of Governors at WAES she jumped at the opportunity.

At WAES, she is the link Governor of staffing and believes that adult and community education is vitally important in ensuring that education doesn’t just stop at school and in fact we can all continue to learn.
