Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) hosts the DWP Youth Hub for the borough at its Lisson Grove centre, offering tailored, face‑to‑face support to help local residents move closer to work, education and training.
Launched in 2021, the Hub brings together the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP), WAES and a range of specialist partner organisations in one welcoming, accessible location, making it easier for residents to get the right support at the right time.
The DWP Youth Hub is part of a national government initiative designed to support young adults into employment, training or further opportunities. At Lisson Grove, the Hub has grown into a collaborative partnership model, expanding its offer to meet a wider range of needs.
While the original programme focused on 18–24 year‑olds, the Lisson Grove Youth Hub now supports residents aged 18–30 through partner organisations, alongside WAES adult learning and progression advice for learners of all ages.
The Hub operates as a drop‑in and appointment‑based service, depending on the type of support required.
