“I came to England 20 years ago, when the Soviet Union collapsed and military unrest began in Latvia. It was difficult to live, and I began to look for new opportunities. Before I was a traveller and lived in some different countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Israel.

Before WAES I graduated from the University of Tel Aviv in art and I had a successful career in web design in London for quite a long time, I began to continue expressing my emotions and feelings through fine art. Although having earned a degree, I continue to learn about Fine Art and design at The University of the Art London and on courses throughout London and Europe.

Art is my passion, and I’m committed to continuously expanding my knowledge and acquiring high-quality, practical information. These courses offer a wealth of intriguing and valuable content, with teachers who are both innovative and generous in imparting fresh insights. Engaging in such education is a significant stride towards building a promising career.

The staff at the college value students’ efforts and provide unwavering support for their educational endeavours. They are always ready to assist and encourage, fostering a supportive environment for learning. With a fantastic team and well-structured educational practices, the college offers abundant new avenues and prospects for growth through well-structured educational practices and student events.

A few of my greatest achievements at WAES is starting my own British Casual clothing brand JuritaArt® in the City of Westminster of London UK, at 50 years old, based on the principle that clothing should be designed to Look Stylish and Staying Comfortable. As well as temporarily working at an international exhibition in Chelsea at the Saatchi Gallery. To recognise these achievements I was honoured to receive a “Highly Commended” certificate during the WAES Learner Awards at Westminster City Hall.”
