WAES Media Makeup Learners Showcase Skills at The Grass Roots Summer Splash Event
The Grass Roots Summer Splash event celebrated diversity with a vibrant one-day show in Camden featuring fashion, photography, music, and trading from Black creatives. The event showcased emerging fashion designers, with a live photoshoot capturing each unique look, hosted by Peaches Presents.
WAES Media Makeup Learners attended the event, applying their makeup skills to enhance the models’ appearances. Each outfit was paired with a distinctive makeup look, perfectly matching the theme of the event. The learners’ creativity and talent were on full display, contributing to the success and visual impact of the Grass Roots Summer Splash.
Our Level 2 and Level 3 Media Make up learners had a wonderful day carrying out hair and make up for this shoot. They were the Dream Team. Exceptionally professional and worked fantastically as a team. They were pushed out of their comfort zone but produced some lovely creative work.
