“ It took me a while to land where I am now – doing something that actually feels right for me. I studied microbiology at university, before changing to a computer science course. Unfortunately, university was never the best learning environment for me. After I left university, I worked in a chemistry lab but it turned out that a career in that sector was also not for me.

One of the best aspects of this apprenticeship is it prepares you for a broad range of potential jobs in the sector. From creating showcases and cleaning objects, to the vital administrative work that makes loaning objects, and by extension, exhibitions, possible.”
