Digital Bootcamp: Tech Project Workshop

Learners from the AWS re/Start for Success and Full Stack Bootcamp, both past and present, gathered for an inspiring and informative workshop. Led by Stephen Owen, a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer, the event offered invaluable career guidance and practical industry insights.

The event was attended by key figures, including AWS re/Start Digital Course Leader Sathish Boini, Head of Digital and Computing Waqas Ahmed, Full Stack Bootcamp Digital Course Leader Munawar Nadeem, Employer Relationship Manager Tracey Burrows, and WAES Principal Arinola Edeh.

The session covered essential topics such as crafting an impressive tech CV, excelling in job interviews, and building a strong personal brand to stand out in a competitive job market. Participants also received an exclusive introduction to an open-source project, an initiative designed to provide hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact on the community.

Attendees actively participated in a Q&A session, networked with fellow learners, and gained actionable strategies to propel their careers forward. This event also marked the beginning of an exciting collaboration, as participants now have the opportunity to contribute to the open-source project as part of their course.
