This qualification is for learners who want to develop and extend their digital and IT skills to prepare for different roles in the digital and creative industries within Software Development. Learners should be able to demonstrate the skills and ability to study at Level 3. English and Maths at Level 2 will provide a good foundation for successful progression.

The course is taught through the Code Institute learning platform. You will be assessed through an exam after the completion of each module.
You will need access to your own computer (laptop or desktop) and an internet connection to participate. A standard computer a minimum of 4GB ram and a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) is sufficient to participate.
You will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours expected by employers and covers a wide range and use of different digital technologies, systems and software. You will extend your digital and IT skills to prepare for different roles in the within Software Development.
You will need 90% attendance and have successfully passed the Level 3 Software Development to be considered for higher level digital studies
