Learners Exhibit Artwork at the Triangle Gallery

On Friday 22nd November, the Triangle Studios, a new creative space in partnership with Westminster City Council officially opened in the heart of the Church Street Triangle. This innovative hub is part of the Church Street Regeneration project, designed to support local creatives, businesses, and the wider community.

The Triangle Studios house 11 artist studios and the Triangle Gallery, a dedicated space to celebrate local talent and creativity. A few of our learners had the opportunity to showcase their stunning paintings in this inspiring venue. The site also features a retail pop-up unit, offering a platform for local makers and entrepreneurs to thrive.

I live locally in the area and found out about the new gallery through a friend who works in the community. She encouraged me to enter with my final major project pieces that were exhibited at WAES. I took some time deliberating whether I would or not. I was worried as I had never done this before and felt that it was a big step from having my art work displayed at college where I am comfortable and surrounded by other artists that I know and who are also on their learning journey to a professional gallery that is open to the public. I then decided that this was the direction that I needed to go forward in the future – Marwa Nasr Level 3 UAL Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication (Art)
