Level 1 in ESOL/English. We will consider Entry 3 level students applications who would like a challenge.
Pronunciation problems and language differences. Phonetic chart and English phonemes. Stressed syllables and weak sounds. Intonation. Rhythm of English. Repairing miscommunication. Important pronunciation tools to take away. And lots of practice
This is a classroom based 4-week course. There is no formal assessment or qualification but you will receive a certificate for attending all sessions. It is recommended that you join all sessions to get the best outcome from the course. Having access to a phone or other equipment to record your speaking would be useful.
There is a £40 fee attached to this course for all students, regardless of income.
