What is the course about?
This course is for clothes making beginners. In this course will learn how make a basic top in calico (unbleached cotton fabric) and then make the garment in your chosen fabric.
This course is for beginners, no prior knowledge is needed.

Through demonstrations, discussions, workshop practice, one to one instruction from specialist tutor guidance.
Basic materials are provided including pattern cutting paper and calico. You will be required to provide your own fabric for your final garment, your tutor will advise on this. Please bring a notebook, pen and pencil.
You will be able to complete sewing projects with increased confidence
You can develop your skills further on one of our short courses or take an accredited course in Fashion Design starting in September
