Turner and Townsend Project Management Workshop

On Thursday 28 March there was an exciting opportunity for staff and learners to broaden their knowledge of project management, through a workshop delivered by Turner & Townsend, a leading provider of project management and engineering services internationally that is currently involved in the decarbonisation and renewal project relating to the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking

The aim of the workshop was to help upskill individuals for their current roles or those who may be looking to start a career in project management. It covered essential skills needed for project management including planning, scheduling, risk management, communication, leadership and problem solving. The 26 attendees discussed projects as diverse as building the Shard to making a cup of tea.

It was led by Liam Bloundele, a Principal Consultant at Turner & Townsend, with eight years’ experience in major projects and programmes across a range of sectors and geographies, for both public- and private-sector clients.
