What is the course about?
CompTIA Security+ is a professionally industry recognised certification that validates the skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. We are unique to any other provider, where we offer face to face delivery of the course compared to many online providers!
This professional IT course it is comparable to a level 4 in the UK and you should have some experience in IT preferably 2 years with understanding of basic networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting whilst preferably completed either CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ or equivalent - note this is not for beginners.
The CompTIA Security+ certification covers five major domains of cybersecurity knowledge, focusing on both technical and procedural aspects consisting of General Security Concepts, Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigations, Security Architecture, Security Operations and Security Program Management and Oversight.
Unlike many other providers we provide a fully onsite delivery approach to delivering this course. It will be led through lecture, hands on lab and reviewing concepts methodology to ensure you fully prepared for the 90mins exam SY0-701.
It may be useful for you to purchase CompTIA Security+ Study Guide but we will provide the learning management system (learner content) and exam voucher for SY0-701.
