WAES Pimlico Creche Rated Outstanding by Ofsted

WAES’s Pimlico Creche has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted following its inspection on 28 November 2023, for which the report has now been published.

The provision was rated Outstanding in all areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

The report highlights the staff’s nurturing approach, high expectations for behaviour, and a “rich and inspiring curriculum” that fosters children’s independence and love of learning. The team was also commended for their efforts to engage parents and develop strong partnerships, noting “the delight of parents with the rapid progress made by their children”.

The approach to welfare was also praised, with “the support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) being exceptional”. Overall, the report reflects the creche’s commitment to providing high-quality early years education and care.
