WAES is Westminster’s specialist adult education service in the heart of London, providing modern learning environments where learners can study with like-minded people in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Whether you are returning to learning, want to learn a new skill or would like to progress to higher education, Westminster Adult Education Service has a huge range of qualification and general interest courses.
Make your change in 2024 by enrolling for a qualification or expanding your creativity with leisure learning.
Free courses are available for learners older than 19, residing in Greater London and earning less than £25,642.50 a year (subject to terms and conditions).
Higher-level courses can also be funded via Advanced Learner Loans.

Opening times for enrolment
Our main enrolment activities will take place at our Lisson Grove centre. Our Pimlico centre is open as usual for general enquiries, while our Amberley Road centre remains closed over the holiday until the start of term.
Many courses do not begin until after the start of term, so enrolment will still be available beyond 9 September, at which point our usual term-time opening times will apply.
