We were delighted to take part in Great Big Green Week, the UK’s largest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. The week encourages people, organisations, and communities to come together to explore sustainable living, environmental awareness, and positive action for a greener future.
As part of the celebrations, we hosted a range of activities and displays across our centres, including:
“Regent’s Park because it has green spaces and a playground, and you can see ducks, birds and other animals.”
“We like Virginia Water Lake a lot because the children can see various aspects of nature, including the trees, beautiful roots and the waterfall.”
The week provided a valuable opportunity for residents and visitors to engage with environmental topics, discover useful resources, and learn more about the small changes that can contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle.
