AWS re/Start Graduates Celebrate at Lord Mayor’s Parlour

Huge congratulations to our latest cohort of AWS re/Start Graduates who are now qualified and ready to begin their cloud careers!

We were thrilled to celebrate the hard work and success of our learners with a graduation ceremony in the Lord Mayor’s Parlour in City Hall. The Graduation Celebration was attended by Councillor Tim Roco, as well as representatives from Amazon Web Services and local employers.

This programme has been run in collaboration with Amazon Web Services to equip local people, particularly those who are unemployed or from underrepresented groups, with highly sought-after skills in cloud computing.

Over the twelve-week programme, learners are taught fundamental and transferable cloud computing skills including scripting, automation, programming languages focused on Python and knowledge of security fundamentals.

We are also working with Westminster Employment Service who are providing coaching in various soft skills such as writing a CV, interview technique, time management, effective collaboration and connecting learners to potential employers.

We are now recruiting for our next programme, which will begin in September. Apply for AWS re/Start online now.
